In light of the ongoing situation of COVID-19, people are confined within their homes and are forced to work from home. Before this time, keeping work and home separate did not feel too tough. But now, when all of us are obliged to combine the two, it is getting challenging to maintain a balance. You might spend your entire day in the struggle of fulfilling your tasks but fail to do so. This happens because we mix up all the chores in the panic of getting them done in time. 

To combat these quarantine problems, we have listed some easy-to-follow steps to get all your mission completed with ease. 

Wake up 1 hour early: 

After waking up, don’t fall over your laptop instantly to check your important emails. Instead, wake up 1 hour earlier to get fresh and eat a healthy and filling breakfast. Afterward, head over to your home-garden and perform yoga, meditation, stretching, or any of your preferred workouts. The fresh environment of your home-garden will help you inhale all the goodness and exhale all the apprehensions. This routine will make you relax physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. 

Do a few preps before grabbing your laptop: 

  • Get a weekly planner and list down all the errands that were haunting you throughout the night. Try to complete them within that day to lower your burden or split them with another day’s activities. 
  • Keep a big bottle of water with you throughout the day to keep your hydration levels up. 
  • Trick your mind as if you are working in your office. Apply your favorite lipstick or wear your desired hairstyle or outfit.  
  • Prepare a comfortable environment for sitting during your work hours. Arrange everything that you might need and organize them right beside your spot.  

Practice Healthy Eating: 

Staying at home and wondering what to cook today?  

Choose and prepare a list of all the healthy foods that you and your family are planning to eat for the rest of the week. Take a day off from your home-office do all the groceries and plan a meal prep. This will assist you to focus on your work more, rather than worrying about preparing food. Undoubtedly, this is an awesome chance to practice healthy eating with your family. 

How to end your day? 

After all the hassle of the day, dwell yourself into a warm bath with scented candles burning all around you. Keep your surroundings aromatic to keep your mind at peace. Let your emotions and stress devour into the warm water. Play a good and soothing music list and finally do all the skincare to keep you revitalized. Take care of yourself from the inside and outside.
